A bit more about us.
We work locally in the Test Valley, Hampshire, though are happy to go further afield for consultations.
River Wranglers is a river restoration and freshwater habitat management team formed to serve the River Test and its catchment.

We specialise in small to medium scale riparian restoration and enhancement, utilising a range of in-stream soft engineering techniques.

Our work is informed by a decade spent restoring and managing a stretch of the Wallop Brook, a River Test tributary, as a catch and release wild trout fishery.
In this time we've worked with many major conservation NGOs and have also worked alongside local farmers, landowners and other interest groups in an effort to realise conservation goals at catchment scale.
Though we're happiest getting our feet wet in the name of habitat creation, we can also provide river management and conservation advice - and if we don't have what you're looking for we may well know someone who does.
A catchment-wide approach to river restoration:
Rivers are a litmus test for the health of the landscapes they run through, so for us every habitat we create, enhance or restore is all part of the same big picture.
Our agricultural background & experience with regenerative farming systems allows us to understand the vital importance of habitat restoration in the wider landscape.

Whilst we also see the amazing effects of smaller scale conservation projects such as garden ponds - not just for wildlife but also for the people involved.
